Ray Toutiffer was born and raised in Antigonish, NS, and he's got the Celtic colours to prove it! A lifelong performer, he began singing and starring in school plays at a young age. After a brief diversion to engineering school Ray returned to the arts, attending George Brown Theatre School. After graduation he did a tour of Salt Water Moon (Single Thread), sang and danced in productions of Mamma Mia & Jersey Boys (YES Theatre) and The Music Man (Thousand Islands Playhouse) and was lucky enough to return home to perform in Festival Antigonish’s Opening Night. As half of the absurd clown duo The Sensationals, Ray has made people guffaw on stages all around Toronto. His most recent endeavour as a burlesque performer is the most exciting yet! Joining the company of Sudbury Burlesque, Ray Toutiffer has found his true calling: singing live and acting foolish while getting (almost) naked.
